• An X-ray in Scotland revealed quite the surprise(Newser) - A 38-year-old female patient was presented with symptoms including mild incontinence, sepsis, lethargy, and unexplained weight loss.

Diagnosis: She'd had a sex toy inside her body for 10 years without knowing it, reports the Scottish Daily Record. Doctors in Aberdeen discovered the 5-inch toy, which was pressing against her bladder, after X-raying the woman's abdomen. The woman then recalled using it with a partner a decade ago in a night of drunken love-making, explains Fox News.

Surgeons removed the toy, and the woman is now fine. As goofy as it sounds, the case outlined in the Journal of Sexual Medicine represented a life-threatening condition.

Piper's Michael Kors wedding dress certainly earns her points for being a daring bride. She wore a metallic silver and nude long-sleeve gown, with her hair swept up and covered by a yellow tulle veil, and held a large bouquet of white roses. We've never seen a yellow veil before, but hey, we appreciate the bold look.

Stephen wore a casual blue suit (that could be denim!) and a gray fedora.

  • Mercury Enters Leo: Open-hearted Communication

On Thursday, July 31, it lands in a new sign at long last -- the loving, open-hearted constellation of Leo. After months of over-analysis and mood swings, you'll be ready to lay your feelings on the table without fear, regret, or passive-aggressiveness.

If you've struggled to relate to your partner throughout the last few months, it's no wonder. Any Mercury retrograde can cause communication havoc, but these issues become even more intense in Gemini, where it's almost impossible to get people to say what they mean. Before Mercury returned to Gemini on June 17, it spent the first few weeks of its retrograde in Cancer, where it heightened all emotions past the point of no return.

    1. Have a tension-tamer on standby. After you've been with your sweetie a while, you can tell when tempers are about to flare. Use that awareness to be proactive: Therapist Meredith Albert, LCSW, suggests being prepared with a go-to phrase to bust tension as soon as it starts to rear its ugly head. "I use the phrase 'Are you sassin' me?' or 'Okay, Sassy," and we both can't keep a straight face," she says. "We end up laughing and smiling at each other and whatever we were about to

  • Seven of Swords
The Seven of Swords card reversed suggests that the jig may be up. Remorse, guilt, fear or having someone discover your secret could have you waving the white flag. Romantic games are all well and good, but this moment finds you reluctant to follow through, especially if you have been in pursuit of someone you thought knew the score; conversely, you could be the person on the receiving end of the deception. You could be feeling exposed, vulnerable, betrayed or desperate. If you have little left to lose by maintaining your cover or if you have been covering for someone else, you may feel the need to show all your cards. Some snacks are the perfect aphrodisiac, but others can put a stop to your night altogether. Avoid these mood-busting culprits:

    1. Coffee
Too much caffeine raises your cortisol levels, which is the stress hormone. According to Nicole Kasal, a health and wellness coach and founder of Cleanse Culture, high amounts "make it more difficult for your body to relax, and lower your libido."

    2. Anything too salty (think French fries or movie popcorn)
They increase water retention and bloating explains Dr. Robert Kominiarek D.O., FACOFP, author and medical director of the Alpha Male Medical Institute. Another downside? "Blood flow is what makes an orgasm possible, and too much salt will make it more difficult to get to that point," says Kasal.

    3. Fruits
Avoid them, especially post-meal. "Fruit digests really quickly -- a lot more quickly than anything you could possibly eat," explains Kasal. And that can lead to cramping,
